PARIS PRESENTS JERSEY TO SCHOOL

PARIS SAUMANI PRESENTS JERSEY TO SCHOOL –

 

Paris Saumani has become the first girl to join the ranks of Representative Rugby players who have presented their playing jerseys to Wesley College. The school has been presented with provincial and national jerseys from students and past-students for many years in what has become a Wesley tradition. Paris, who played for the Samoan Schools Sevens team has presented her jersey to the school.

The school has had the jersey framed and will display it in the school dining room.

MINISTER OF EDUCATION ACKNOWLEDGES SUCCESS  –

For the second year in a row the Minister of Education, Hekia Parata, has written to Wesley College to congratulate us on our academic success.

The letter praises our increase in achievement at Levels 1, 2 and 3 and also the success of our Maori and Pasifika students.

I was delighted to learn of the improvement in students’ NCEA achievement results at Wesley College.  I want to personally congratulate you and your fellow school leaders on continuing to build on last year’s achievement results………..
