Year 13 Hospitality recently had the exciting opportunity to attend the NZMA Open Day, where students gained valuable insight into the world of culinary arts. The visit provided a first-hand look at the wide range of hospitality and culinary programmes NZMA has to offer.
From interactive demonstrations to hands-on workshops, the experience opened students’ eyes to the dynamic possibilities within the culinary industry. They observed professional chefs in action, explored state-of-the-art training kitchens, and learned about the pathways available for further study and careers in hospitality.
The visit not only inspired many but also deepened their understanding of the skills and creativity involved in the culinary field.
