Netball Wrap Up!
This year’s netball season was one of rebuild aimed at lifting participation, developing skills, and building long-term team culture to remember, with three dedicated teams proudly representing our school – Year 9, Year 10, and our Senior Mixed team. Across the season, each group demonstrated commitment, teamwork, and the determination to keep improving every game.

Year 9 Netball Team
For many players, this was their first taste of secondary school netball, and they rose to the challenge. Throughout the season, the Year 9 team developed strong passing combinations, sharper shooting accuracy, and a growing understanding of game strategy. Their energy and enthusiasm at both training and games where infectious finishing 3rd is a compliment to the effort and commitment of the team.

Year 10 Netball Team
Building on their experience from the previous year with a handful being their first, the Year 10s brought a mix of skill and confidence to the court. Within a very competitive grade there were plenty of challenges early on but the determination to improve they showed real resilience in games and continued to push each other to improve. Finishing 5th overall shows the growth.
Senior Mixed Team
Our Senior Mixed team made up with a handful of seniors and most weeks had junior players doubling up. Great effort with adapting to the changes and challenges faced every week.

A Season of Growth and Teamwork
All three teams represented our school with pride and sportsmanship, supporting one another both on and off the court. The season was filled with hard-fought games, moments of brilliance, and plenty of laughs along the way. A big thank you goes to our coaches, managers, and supporters who helped make this season possible.
We look forward to seeing what next year brings – stronger skills, bigger goals, and the same incredible Wesley spirit!
