The Presiding Member of the Wesley College Board today announced the appointment of Kevin Bush as Limited Statutory Manager (LSM). 

This appointment is a structured intervention designed to support the Board in specific areas of governance. The LSM’s primary focus will be to oversee employment matters, refine school policies and procedures, and manage communications. Kevin will also provide expert advice on Health and Safety protocols to ensure the continued wellbeing of all students and staff. 

Kevin brings a wealth of experience to this role; he has 30 years of principalship, has been involved with ERO as a Leadership Partner and for the last three years has worked for the Ministry of Education as a Leadership Adviser. His involvement will focus on specific areas of our governance. 

The Board is fully committed to this process. Our objective is to ensure that our human resource practices and strategic leadership are of the highest standard, providing a safe and high-quality learning environment for our students. 

It remains "business as usual" for the daily operations of the school. The teaching and learning programs continue as scheduled, and our staff remain dedicated to the success and achievement of every pupil.
