What an outstanding achievement—taking out the whole division in most categories and being crowned overall winners of the Māori Polyfest 2026. This is no small victory. It is the fruit of dedication, discipline, unity, and a deep pride in who you are and where you come from.
It was truly a privilege and a joy to be present last night alongside our Tumuaki, Charlotte Saunders, and Deputy Principal, Christine Pereira, to witness such an excellent display of elegance, strength, and energy. Your performance was not just a competition piece—it was a powerful expression of identity, culture, and mana.
You carried yourselves with confidence and unity. Every movement, every chant, every moment spoke of hard work behind the scenes and a shared commitment to excellence. You have made your school, your whānau, and your wider community immensely proud.
A special and heartfelt thank you to our tutors, kaiako (teachers), and whānau. Your dedication, sacrifice, and unwavering support behind the scenes made this success possible. You have nurtured, guided, and uplifted these young people—not just in performance, but in identity, discipline, and pride. This victory belongs to you as much as it does to our students.
