Today we attended an NZMA Open Day event.
We got to have a go at all the activities they have, from deadhangs in the gym, to having a go at bartending and barista training, making our own hand creams at the pharmacy pop up and going in the kitchen to watch and taste how different sushi is made. After the day we were given a ticket to take up to the in-house cafe where we had lunch, a hot dog with cheese and onion.
Overall I would say I enjoyed the trip and would go again if I had the opportunity. I enjoyed the environment, what courses they had to offer and the food.

I went to a Hospitality Career Expo event where we got to look around different areas and learn about the industry.
We visited a gym and also a kitchen where they showed us how to make sushi, which was really fun and interesting.
The trip was to NZMA, located in Sylvia Park and overall it was a good experience.

We went to NZMA Hospitality training school at Sylvia Park and learned different things like how to make coffees.
I also walked around all the workshops and had a hot dog and then we checked our grip strength. Mine was 61kg. We also checked how high we could jump.
It was a good day and I would go again.

Today I went to the NZMA open day. We got to take a look at what they offer and the plans they have for you after school.
I learned how to use a steamer for frothed milk. Made a couple drinks (mixology). And overall had a good experience.
