Worth $18,000 over 3 years
- Keystone Trust and C3 Construction Scholarship for a school leaver studying a Bachelor of Construction at the Auckland campuses of Unitec, Massey or AUT.
- This scholarship will be for three years and also includes paid work experience for the student as they learn on the job about construction, property development, management, and finance.

Te Paewai o Te Rangi is a week-long scholarship programme providing Māori students with the opportunity to experience student life at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington and explore the capital city.
We will cover your cost of travel to Wellington and back home, your accommodation, and your kai whileyou’re here with us.
The programme takes place from Tuesday 18 August to Saturday 22 August 2026—with our annual Open Day event on the Friday.

University of Victoria at Wellington School-Leavers Scholarships Open on 1 June 2026
Applications will open on 1 June. We recommend that students complete their application before Open Day on 21 August to comfortably meet the 1 September deadline.
We have seven categories available for school leavers:
- which celebrates academic excellence, worth $7,000
- focused on equitable access to education, for students who come from socio-economically disadvantaged or refugee backgrounds, identify as rainbow, or who have a disability, worth $7,000
- for leadership outside and inside the classroom, worth $7,000
- for outstanding achievement, worth upto $37,000 over three years
- for sustainability, valued at $7,000
- for Māori students, valued at $7,000, and up to $32,000 for Pasifika students, valued at $7,000, and up to $32,000
- to foster excellence in sport, open to any athletes from all sporting and academic disciplines, valued at $7,000
Wellington International Excellence Scholarship, to support International students studying at New Zealand secondary schools, valued at $10,000 in the second year of study. For all international students the VUW Undergraduate International Scholarship, valued at $15,000 in the first year of study, is automatically applied.
Full details of the scholarship conditions are available on our website. We encourage students to submit their applications two weeks before the deadline to allow adequate time.
