We were delighted to welcome former Wesleyan 𝐑𝐞𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐧 back to Wesley College to share his inspiring journey from our classrooms to studying Geography and Environmental Science at the University of Otago.
Following his Chapel presentation, Reon met with a group of 20 interested students for a more personal Q&A session in the Watson Day Centre. Our students asked thoughtful and engaging questions about university life, including: "What's the main difference between Wesley and university?", "Which Hall of Residence is the best to live in?", "Is Otago really that cold?", and "Have you ever slept on top of a mountain, and what was it like?"
It was wonderful to see our students so curious and eager to learn about the opportunities that lie beyond secondary school. Thank you, Reon, for returning to inspire the next generation of Wesleyans by sharing your experiences, encouraging our students to dream big, embrace new challenges, and pursue their aspirations with confidence.
