It was fantastic to have Tyson with us at the AIMS Games this year. He took on the role of mentor to our young athletes and showed maturity, enthusiasm and genuine care for the players throughout the week.
He was actively involved in our post-game debriefs, sharing thoughtful observations and supporting players to reflect on their performance. He also stepped up as an assistant coach, confidently running warm-ups, stretches and cool-downs, while being a helpful and reliable support to both coaches and players on the sideline. During downtime, Tyson continued to contribute positively to the team, using games and activities to build confidence, resilience and team connection.
He brought plenty of energy and fun to the experience and was someone the players could look up to.
Overall, Tyson was a mature, positive and valued member of our AIMS Games team, and it was a pleasure to have him with us.
