Congratulations - Year 11 Melenaite Taupaki is through to the finals of the Active Achievement competition.

Active Achievement is a private program which has recently moved from Wellington to Auckland. They have selected one student from each secondary school and University in the region, from ages 15-21, to compete in a competition where they challenge others in subjects which they think will pursue their future career.

Melenaite Taupaki was selected from Wesley College to compete. Out of the initial 87 students, Melenaite has made it through to the final 32 students. The finals will be held on 5 August 2021.

Melenaite entered the competition with 4 subjects (Accounting, Lea-Fakatonga, English and Music) and has entered another 4 (Mathematics, Geography, Religious Studies and Financial Capability).

“We are very proud of the effort and commitment your student has put into her work in the first round and wish her all the best in the finals.”  Martin Johnson, Active Achievement
