The boys have an interest in joining the Army when they leave school. The programme tested them physically and mentally with each day beginning with a variety of fitness challenges.

They undertook marching, drill, and experienced a raft of leadership activities and challenges throughout the week. All of which gave them an insight into what is expected in the defence force or other uniformed services.

Both boys represented Wesley College well. I congratulate and commend them on taking the lead in pursuing their future career options and investing a week of their time to explore what is possible.

Gateway is an opportunity for your son/daughter to get practical work experience in the industry or career that interests them.
Every student on this program is expected to complete credits and work experience. Gateway is a great pathway for students who intend going into trades or the Services.

Gateway is available to: Years 11-13, 16+ years old.

For more information about opportunities for your son/daughter please contact Mrs Natasha Jeffrey, Gateway Coordinator on (09) 2370224 extension 870.
