Tangata Beats:

On Saturday June 16th Tribe 801 2021, competed in the annual competition, having taken a break last year it was the first time for most of our band members. 

We would like to congratulate the following:  

• Junior Toluta’u, David Setitaia and Sili Vaeno (vocalists) 

• Billy Tomu and Alex Alefosio (guitarists) 

• Andrew Small (bass guitar) 

• Va’a Nansen (keyboard) 

• Leititia Vaka (drums) 

The students represented our school well, it was a tough comp with 30 schools competing for 12 spots, unfortunately we did not place in the top 12, but we look forward to taking on board the feedback and trying our luck with Stand Up Stand Out in Term 3.
